NAAAP Philadelphia Elections

It's that time of year again!  NAAAP Philadelphia will be holding Board of Directors elections for the 2011-2014 term.  Vote for NAAAP Philadelphia's Board of Directors and help determine NAAAP Philadelphia's next generation of leaders! 

NOTE: You must be a current paid and registered member of NAAAP Philadelphia to be eligible to vote.  To register or renew your membership, please visit www.naaapphiladelphia.org or contact ying.chen@naaapphilly.org

 

About the Election

All NAAAP Philadelphia members will have an opportunity to vote electronically for individual Board Candidates in early December. Board member bios and pictures will be available for review via the electronic ballot. 

 

The NAAAP Philadelphia Board will select the EVP and VPs based on applications submitted by 11/22 and interviews conducted in early December. 

 

Open Positions

Vice President, Non-Profit Relations (Term = 1 year)

Vice President, Corporate Relations (Term = 1 year)

Vice President, Collegiate Relations (Term = 1 year)

Vice President, Small Business Relations (Term = 1 year)

Executive Vice President (Half Term = 1 year to fill in as an interim)

3 Board of Directors positions (Each Term = 3 years)

Desired Qualifications

VP/EVP

  • Member of NAAAP Philadelphia in good standing.
  • Aged 21 and over.
  • Professional or volunteer leadership experience.
  • Recommended previous NAAAP Philadelphia leadership experience.
  • We require two nominations by NAAAP Philadelphia members in good standing and a completed application. 

 

Board of Directors Member

  • Professional or volunteer leadership experience.
  • Age 21 and over.
  • Recommended 10 years of work experience.
  • We require two nominations by NAAAP Philadelphia members in good standing and a completed application. 

 

How to Apply

Board of Directors applicants should submit a professional resume and an optional additional page listing nonprofit leadership roles/accomplishments to elections@naaapphilly.org. Two NAAAP Philadelphia members should also email elections@naaapphilly.org to nominate a Board of Director candidate. All Board applicants will be reviewed and approved by the elections committee and all nominees will be notified of their nomination. Individual Board candidates will be voted into office electronically by NAAAP Philadelphia members in good standing.

 

VP/EVP applicants should also submit a professional resume and an optional additional page listing nonprofit leadership roles/accomplishments to elections@naaapphilly.org. Two NAAAP Philadelphia members should also email elections@naaapphilly.org to nominate a VP/EVP candidate. All nominees will be notified of their nomination. VP/EVP candidates with a completed application will interview with the Board. The Board will make the final selection of VPs/EVPs based on interviews and applications.
