Sna@ap Dragons Toastmasters
NAAAP Philadelphia recognized the importance of developing better public speaking skills in Asian American leaders and therefore has partnered with Toastmasters international to offer this service to our members. Our own sNAAAP Dragons Toastmasters club has recently achieved an important milestone, chartering as an officially recognized Toastmasters club. Through a structured program, the club assists its members into becoming competent communicators and effective leaders. Although membership to Toastmasters club is geared towards NAAAP Philadelphia members, it is also open to the public. The club meets 2-3 times per month and has held specialty demonstration events to encourage membership enrollment.

Mentoring
In his Greek tragedyAntigone, Sophocles said, "The idea condition would be, I admit, that men should be right by instinct. But since we are all likely to go astray, the reasonable things is to learn from those who can teach." He acknowledges that the best way to learn is to seek the help of knowledgeable and experienced people. sNAAAP Dragons Toastmasters has members who excel in different areas of public speaking and leadership skills; there is always something to learn from this diverse group. If you want to achieve your public speaking and leadership skills faster and avoid making mistakes, join sNAAAP Dragons Toastmasters. Our vision is to help you become a more polished speaker and effective leader. Remember to check out our mentorship program.
